Seven parks of Kunming to visit for Nat'l Day Holiday

1.The Daguan Park (7 km from downtown by public bus)

2.The Kunming Zoo (2 km from downtown by public bus)
Highlight
14 mongooses (from Africa), red-necked wallabies, fennec fox and two-years-old giraffes etc

3. The Golden Temple Park
Highlight
During 26-27 September, Chinese classical music show (twice a day); camellia blooming in autumn and flower exhibition in the Green Houses.

4.The Black Dragon Pool Park (13 km from downtown by public bus)
Highlight
101 pieces of Chinese traditional paintings and calligraphic works for display; over 2,000 plants (like the maple trees) present a really amasing view of autumn.

5.The Tanhua Temple Park (4 km from downtown by Public bus)
Highlight
Over 10,000 pots of flowers on display including the begonia, verbena and tobacco flower (Nicotiana alata cv) etc.

6.The Jiaoye Park (14 km from downtown by public bus)
Highlight
During the National Day Holiday, the exhibition hall for military utensils (including those of the Flying Tigers) in the anti-Japanese War will be open to public.

7.The Xihua Park (6 km from downtown by public bus)
Highlight
Tea culture appreciation, exchange of traditional etiquettes, and traditional performances etc

Tips
During 1-7 October, the Xihua Park will be open for free and the other six parks will charge 80 percent of the normal entry fee.
